Society of Radiography in Kenya (SORK)

SORK Events

The Society of Radiography in Kenya organizes numerous events every year.
There are however three major events that fixed to be held every annually or bi-annually. These are:

The Annual General Meeting (AGM)

This is a meeting held by all the Members of SORK. It is an annual event and is held in the month of March. Here, the President, The Honorary Secretary, the Treasurer and the Auditor give annual reports on the happenings of the Society. Many members of SORK are able to meet and network as well as share ideas on the way forward for SORK.

Radiographers Scientific Conference (RASCO)

This is a bi-annual conference event that is organized by SORK.

The World Radiography Day

This is an annual global event, which occurs on 8th November. This commemorates the day the Radiography was discovered in 1891 by one Mr. W. C Rontgen. This day is celebrated by creating awareness to the world about Radiography, its benefits and how to expand it.
